Photographer #3

Nick Knight

He has won many different kinds of rewards for his work in editing and advertising. In october 2006 he was awarded the Moet Chandon Fashion Tribut award. He published his first book of photographs in 1982 and since then has made Nicknight a series of floral pictures. Knight’s work has been exhibited at such institutions as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Saatchi Gallery, the Photographers Gallery and Hayward Gallery and recently The Tate Modern.

I like some of his work like the dress one ^^ but then there are some pictures that just look demented like the one on top. i found that alot of his pictures have something to do with injury.

Photographer #7

Craig McDean

He worked and studied as a mechanic before he studied photography. He began his carrer in london by working as an assistant to the photographer Nick Knight. He worked as a commercial photographer for many different people. then he did some editorial work for Vogue.

i don't really like his pictures because they kinda look demented but others don't look to bad. i think i would like it if there was more color.

photogrpher #5

MATT ADDINGTON

He dabbles in photography and is a full time teacher. He does anything from Senior Pictures to Wedding Day Pictures.

i like his style and th different selections of pictures. like the one of the family^ i think its good because the kids are the main focus but mom and dad are still in the picture.

i like this one^ because it is thinking outside the box. the different angle draws your attention to the kids and the swing.

Macro Pictures

This one was a challenge because i didn't know what angle i should take the picture at. so i took a bunch of different pictures and chose the best one.

BEFORE
AFTER
What i did was cropped away the extra blank space and adjusted the saturation so the flowers look a little brighter. i changed the saturation because the colors were kinda blah and now they are bright and will catch your eye.

Photogapher #4

Donald McPherson
He started his career by working under other great photographers. When he worked with them he got the hang of working in fashion photography and now is one of the most famous photographers in Europe. He has worked with Tom Cruise, Keira Knightly and New Order. He also has worked for many different high fashion magazines.

i like his work because it isn't the normal high fashion stuff it takes you to different settings.

She would always take pictures of random things, as she grew up she started learning more and more about photography. she is planning on applying to art schools for photography. I like her style. she takes pictures of everyday things but they look like it would be in a magizine.

Famous Photographer #2

Ansel Adams
http://www.zpub.com/sf/history/adams.html
He was a commercial photographer for 30 years. He was born in San Francisco, and was inspired by a trip in his childhood to do pictures of landscapes. While taking black and white pictures he developed zone exposure to get the maximum tone range for his pictures.

I like his peices because there is a kind of simplicity about them but yet they are complex.
